e100 Challenge Day 47- Jeremiah's Call and Message- Jeremiah 1:1-3:5

Jeremiah was called by God as a young man to warn Judah about its wickedness. Jeremiah is given a message from God to warn them of the coming judgement they would receive because of their disobedience.

"My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water." Jeremiah 2:13

Questions to Ponder...
1. The Jewish people were guilty of forsaking the spring of living water. Why is God referred to living water? Where else in the Bible do we see someone refer to them-self as living water?
2. The Jewish people were also guilty of digging their own broken cisterns. What do you think this is referring to?
3. Have you forsaken God lately and looked to other places to find fulfillment?

Ways to Pray...
Repent of any thing or person that you have loved more than, feared more than or trusted in more than God. Ask Him to quench your thirst like only He can!
