Introducing the Essential 100 (e100) Challenge (and this blog)!

Welcome to the Penn Valley Church Network blog.  Why a blog? We already have a website, bulletin, magazine - all sorts of communication pieces. Why one more thing? 

This blog is a place where we can delve a little deeper, even have an online discussion via the comments section of each post. It's a place for news and where we can "gather" and learn/discuss more about God.

To start, this is the place where we'll discuss the e100 Challenge, which will start at the Bux-Mont and Telford Campuses this Sunday. What's that? It's a call to spend the next 100 days reading 100 carefully-selected Bible passages that present the big picture of God's Word.  

Why?

True revival comes from prayer and knowing the Word of God. The Telford and Bux-Mont Campuses have just wrapped up a series on prayer. Now we'll focus on the Bible. We can only live the life God intended if we know what He says about it.
